The UPS has been out of the equation for about a week or so. Yesterday, it started with the just shutting off at random times. So far, we're up to 3 random shut-offs today. It always restarted when I jiggled the power cord, so after the latest power-off, I completely replaced said power cord. I've had that same problem on a server: used to work fine until I put the cover on (which was a task and a half). Then I figured it was the plug and replaced the lead and it was fine. But what I actually meant was that it's nice to have a succint problem summary -- you don't often see them with 'net difficulties -- and nice to have someone willing to babysit it. Wade. Q:Is it proper to eat cheeseburgers with your fingers? A:No, the fingers should be eaten separately.
