Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I could be wrong, but...
...I'm not aware of a 24-hour persistence window. But then, I don't leave my browser open overnight, generally. I prefer to start fresh in the morning.

That being said, see my post in Open Forum about the server issues I've been having of late with respect to my printer taking power away from the server and causing reboots.....When that has been happening, I've been getting logged out from here even though I didn't close my browser or click the Logout link. That's because the server no longer has my session data.

Note that the server did reboot a few times yesterday afternoon (around 3-ish Central.)

I've (temporarily) fixed the server power issue, but I need either new UPS batteries or a new UPS entirely (per AAX.) That'll probably not happen until after vacation.

Also, note that the login persistence issue is one that I plan to fix.....Eventually. When I getmake time to work on this system again.

New don't think there is
I always shut down my system at night, and I've often been logged off IWT while in the middle of entering a post, so it's definitely not 24 hour related.

When I get logged off I'll click the browser's <previous page> button to get my text back, then open IWT in another tab and log back in. I can then go back to the tab with my text and hit <save> and continue on my way.
New It's not a Real problem
and you're on top of it. Grateful for the service in any event.
(Just thought, maybe.. it was a '1' in a box? which might be changed to a 2 or 3.)

PS - I'm on 15th? 16th? year on an early APC UPS (too lazy to schlep it out for model #) -- sold back when only the cognoscenti ordered such stuff.
I bought original-brand replacement batteries when these approached about a 3 min capacity, on the basis that this set of e- is bloody-well past infant mortality,
and the battery supplier wasn't too shabby either (at ~ 12 years, say?)

Love It - on those rare occasions when it makes sense to keep an elderly but decent design working forever.

I made it through almost 20 minutes of this before coming out of my skin and destroying the TV with my mad shrieking.
