If Israel's blockade of Gaza is illegal, it is still illegal even if there is a hole in one side. It would be like saying it isn't really robbery if I don't take all your money. The blockade being legal or not is more debatable point.

If the folks to the North East and the South East of Gaza want to close their border they can. They are not obligated to trade with Gaza or even let anybody in or out. They shouldn't be deciding who is using the North West.
