New 93 degrees F today. 31 degrees above normal...
It's been a little warm recently...

Hansen's latest (draft) paper says- http://data.giss.nas...010_draft0319.pdf :

We conclude that there has been no reduction in the global warming trend of 0.15-0.20°C/decade that began in the late 1970s.

Cheers,
Scott.
New We've had plenty June days to the mid 80s in March . . .
. . here in Los Angeles, but nothing near the 90s yet.

About two decades ago paleo-meteorologists announced a new take on climate change that matched the data they were getting. Climate change happens much more rapidly than expected, and between the realms of stability the weather is really, really wild.

And that really got the attention of the insurance companies, and they started reevaluating their policies, particularly in marginal regions.

So the Lunatic Right touts every anomaly as "proof" global warming is a fraud, while the insurance companies raise their rates.

At least someone believes the scientists.
New exploitation != belief
New thats why the arctic icepack is growing /me flees
If we torture the data long enough, it will confess. (Ronald Coase, Nobel Prize for Economic Sciences, 1991)
New Starting to see normal temps here now.
I will choose a path that's clear. I will choose freewill.
