How waterboarding was done under Bush/Cheney.

Lest we forget...
The 13 people who made torture possible
The Bush administration's Torture 13. They authorized it, they decided how to implement it, and they crafted the legal fig leaf to justify it. http://www.salon.com...orture/index.html |

on waterboarding and Cheney
Former US Navy SEAL Jesse Ventura once said (the SEALs used to be subjected to waterboarding as part of their training to prepare them for what the wicked, remorseless, conscienceless bad guys might do to them) "Give me Dick Cheney and a waterboard and I'll have his signature on a confession to the Tate-LaBianca* murders inside of an hour."
*for our younger readers, the "Tate-LaBianca murders" took place in 1969, and are associated with Charles Manson and his circle. cordially, |

Some activity on Rumsfeld...
http://www.chicagore...ntent?oid=1515390
See You in Court, Donald Rumsfeld Two American civilians say the U.S. tortured them in Iraq. A Chicago judge won't let the former secretary of defense duck out of their lawsuit. See if this goes anywhere... |

hope it goes all the way
If we torture the data long enough, it will confess. (Ronald Coase, Nobel Prize for Economic Sciences, 1991)

And proud of it...

False bravado.
I'd like to see him and the rest of the 13 go to Madrid for a couple of weeks without a phalanx of security if they really believe they didn't commit (or at the very least abet) actions that could lead to war crimes charges. Somehow, I don't think that'll happen....

He's still waiting to get his hands on Aznar
http://blog.amlaspai...jose-maria-aznar/
Aznar expected the US Congressional Gold Medal for his contribution to the invasion. He underestimated the cost of a Senator and when his own funds ran dry, he started using public money for his petitions. |
