New Politico gets it's hands on RNC fund raising document
http://www.politico....s/0310/33866.html
The Republican National Committee plans to raise money this election cycle through an aggressive campaign capitalizing on “fear” of President Barack Obama and a promise to "save the country from trending toward socialism."

The strategy was detailed in a confidential party fundraising presentation, obtained by POLITICO, which also outlines how “ego-driven” wealthy donors can be tapped with offers of access and “tchochkes.”

Very embarrassing due to the blunt language about manipulating donors but nothing really unexpected here. It is an internal document detailing how they intend to get people to donate and a preview of the overall message of the RNC for the next election cycle. That it will be fear mongering with lots of insinuations of socialism isn't a surprise.

New politico just needs to pick up a daily rag anywhere
Democrats will be doing the same.
Repos are using fear tactics again! Once they get in they will jail all old people and blacks! film at 11
If we torture the data long enough, it will confess. (Ronald Coase, Nobel Prize for Economic Sciences, 1991)
New Interesting take
since I look through the document too and could easily read that >one slide< of 72 (some detail?!) as a breakdown analysis of what they believe motivates the different donor classes...it certainly does not appear to be a detailed marketing plan. I've seen those..and built those...and they are certainly more than one slide of a 72 page deck.
I will choose a path that's clear. I will choose freewill.
