New Ever been there?
give 100 kids a vat full of tokens...theres about 2 games worth playing...and have one kid camp on each game....with parents of the other 98 listening to their kids whine that "those kids are hoggin the game" while parents try to eat really crappy pizza and wish their kids would shut up.

Tempers flare fast.

We went once. We never went back.
I will choose a path that's clear. I will choose freewill.
New spent a lot of time in one in AK
had a trailer next door to one of the assistant managers. Reminds me of a casino with the noise level. Seemed most of the kids played whackamole and bowling. Horrible place, pizza worse than little caesars and crowded. Never saw a fight tho
If we torture the data long enough, it will confess. (Ronald Coase, Nobel Prize for Economic Sciences, 1991)
New Guess you "mo"s are a calmer breed...
..while I never saw a brawl break out...in NJ where people are so "polite" I did see several instances where it did come very close to blows. Ours was right next to Sam's Club...arguments often raged into the pkg lot.

New I walk by one now and then at the Eagle Rock Mall.
It has a glass wall facing the major walkway. There is absolutely no way in Hell I'd go in there. I can easily see why parents would be driven loony in short order.
New Depends on the location
I've been to a couple of there ones that where tolerable. If they are big enough to let the kids spread out and had enough decent games to play you can overlook the terrible pizza.

There used to be one in Lancaster that had an awesome collection of old video games. An original PacMan, Space Invaders, and other classics because the owners where too cheap to replace them and to stupid to realize they where collector pieces.. The geek group from the office would sometimes go there over lunch when we knew the kids where in school.

They both savoured the strange warm glow of being much more ignorant than ordinary people, who were only ignorant of ordinary things.
