What the legislation says is you can't call a game a "national championship" unless it was the result of a playoff. That's a reasonable position, but should be handled by the FTC under truth-in-advertising guidelines. -- Drew

E.g. http://www.contactin...list.cgi?site=ctc Yeah, the BCS, etc., is probably not worth having a hearing over. But that's not the problem. The Senate is the problem. That's the reason why important legislation isn't moving quickly. I can't see the cloture rules in the Senate changing significantly anytime soon. http://en.wikipedia....ure#United_States Cheers, Scott. (Who wonders what it would be like to have cloture require 50%+1 of the Senators present...)
