Best jewish deli I've ever eaten at was in Cleveland (well, suburb). In shear numbers, the LA thing may be right...but I would bet if you were to take top 5 NY vs top 5 LA...NY would win. I will choose a path that's clear. I will choose freewill.

Researchers have to sample the worst as well as the best to get a balanced view. As for the top 5, he rates two in LA as the best in North America, and a few others as top quality, so I doubt NY would win that way either.
