Most likely some judge will slap her on the wrist, claim because she was under the influence that she will get the charge reduced to manslaughter, server 5 years, and then get probation. In the mean time, the family of the guy killed will be upset, but the system doesn't work for the victims, never did never will. Putting her into jail will not bring that guy back, or stop someone from doing it again. "Will work for fair salary and benefits, seeking company with integrity."

But given the subsequent actions, I'd certainly be all in favor of upgrading it to murder. You know what's the worst thing about it? This lady is a nurse's aide and presumably could have rendered some sort of first aid rather than letting him bleed to death in her garage.
