A view from the Berkeley hills

This panorama perfectly complements the recent four part series on PBS, Saving the Bay ...
that ongoing struggle in the perpetual war, Beauty VS Crass Induhvidual asset-aggregating.

(Many not from Bay area are probably unaware of the many 'plans' to virtually fill-in That Bay, for fun, huge- (and hugely-concentrated in a few pockets) profits and just plain homogenization.)
Had these reprobates succeeded in their lusts: this picture would (just over the past 40 years) have shown ...
a sort of wide-river, a plague of McMansions and vastly more of the usual overcrowded detritus.

ie Savor this view; it was not salvaged/restored by resigned complacency!
