There may be some high-end callgirls out there who are living la dolce vita and financing business school on their earnings, but the women you're sneering here at are eking out miserable existences, unimaginably degrading by the standards of anything you've experienced, from a clientele that despises them (and perhaps themselves) and quite likely exacts humiliations great and small from the females as they scratch the itch to defile. And you lot? You come to jeer. These were all small girls once. If their histories are written on their battered and weathered features, do you really think that the tale told is of innate depravity darkly blooming? Likelier, I think, that a great deal of sustained neglect, contempt, cruelty has been applied over the years to turn them into this. And IWT, lightheartedly: "bowsers," "cyborg." Think again, some of you?

Does anybody other than an undercover cop ever pay at those rates? Don't know. But the bigger question is whether the asking price is relevant to compassion. Let's consider a more extreme case: a CEO candidate asks a medical insurance company (apologies to hookers for putting them in bad company) for $100M/yr + perks. I don't fault him for making an offer at the going rate in the market. The problem is a market that pays that much to screw people. Such a market may be corrupting in that it may give the service provider an over-inflated sense of self worth. Somehow, I doubt that's happening to the women in the pictures. And the people those women screw all give informed consent...
