Reminds me of the Guatemalan Air Force
I spent some time there, a while back.
The initials, painted on the bottom of the powder-blue wings of a Spitfire. And a P-38 Lightning. And a number of other rather old planes. Oh, yeah - the word order is different in Spanish. Fuerza Area Guatemalteca. Be amused, enjoy looking at the hardware (Spitfire is a beauty) but take a quick look for cover opportunities just in case, because it is still in actual use carrying real bullets and there was, at the time, a civil war going on. |
