Post #310,243 by a6l6e6x 6/28/09 8:54:10 PM Reply	Some sun in 2 of 3 days there. It's gorgeous! Last night there, the niece's husband fixed the biggest Alaskan crab legs I've ever seen. Ummm! In Anchorage now. Looking for a place that will drop the (55 gal.) fuel tank and replace the fuel pump on the rig. The current pump is hitting a ceiling when you stomp on the pedal and gives P0191 engine check. Ford dealer in Dawson Creek, BC said the rail fuel pressure got below 48 PSI. Fortunately, he did not have one in stock because he wanted $670 CDN for it. Had an after market one FedEx'ed to Valdez for $240 +$28 shipping. Still, I've read there's roughly four hours of labor to pay for. Ouch! Alex

Now to find a place with dry ice to keep the rig's fridge cold while the fridge is otherwise off. Can't have the LP mode on the fridge running a sparking igniter while the fuel tank is being operated on. Gasoline fumes and sparks are bad combo! :) Alex
Post #310,287 by Ashton 6/30/09 12:40:40 AM Reply	Flow some of that CO-2 to gas tank? No 'air' - no combustion. (Doesn't help for any serious leaks/vapors elsewhere, of course.) Kinda makes one wonder why tank wasn't designed for some sort of side access, eh? Luck with the logistics. I.
