New Was that in Milwaukee, or closer to home?

Drew
New Milwaukee, which is home now
Some guys had a running fight that day, ran into each other at the festival and finished it right in front of my booth. Nobody died.

There was only one shot, so before it went through my sign it went through a bad guy's hand and thigh.

I did two more massages before the cops got there, got bored and played CSI. Found the bullet. It failed to go through a wimpy stockade fence, left a little dent, and ended up standing upright on the cement. I have a picture, I'll post it later.

Very weird event. Right before the shot, even though I couldn't hear what people were yelling (loud band) or see the gun, I absolutely KNEW extreme badness was about to go down. Worthless spider-sense - no idea what to do with the information. Felt like about a day after the shot that I had the bright idea to hit the deck. Actually was a good idea, even though I felt stupid as the shooting was way over, because I didn't know whether more shots were coming. Stray bullets that hit bystanders tend to fly horizontal, because otherwise they hit ground pretty quickly, and tend to be at a height where the shooters hand tends to be. So if you aren't the target, down is good. Up is good too, but falling is easier than flying.

Thanks, all.

I will absolutely be back there next year. It was mostly a very nice day, good music, great people-watching, not a lot of work but those I worked on were pleasant and appreciative. And there is no way in hell the bad guys get to chase me away.
