During the ceremony, the school presented and honorary doctorate to a guy who graduated in 1973 (same year I would have graduated if I would have gone directly to college instead of the Army). One Gary Stimac. Employee #5 at Compaq... Interesting little acceptance speech he gave. Too bad most of the graduates were too busy with wishing everything was over so the parties could begin. First "baby" has graduated. Next/last one next year. Guess I must be getting older...

Post #309,169 by jbrabeck 5/26/09 2:31:35 PM Reply	Hmm, Grad or kids... My 3 step daughters went the "let's have babies" route. I now have 3 grandkids. My 2 bio daughters went to college. I has graduated, other next year. Which is better? Dunno. Grand kids are nice. Degree and job is good.

I kinda have the best of both: Graduated from High School, went to College for 1 year, got prego, still working at Job she has had since High School and is now in Training for fast Food Management. Its like she was made for the Job, she just can do the stuff. I'm worried about my 16 year old, she will Graduate High School, but College may just be too much for her. I have this one set of conditions on living at home: 1) Going full time to school 2) Working full time earning and paying for living expenses 3) Any combination of the previous two to make FULL time something or full time work and full time school If one of those single conditions is met, she can live at home. If none of them are met, she can find somewhere else to live.
