New Thou speaketh Truthiness!
Just #1, so far, 'fseventer' -- simply, more than I imagined possible (well.. likely, anyway) via GUI.
What a Great 'teaching tool', at the very least. And if 'normal' ops are scanned for a time, certainly appears to be a close-enough cluer-in when things go awry (but not Too-awry to still be able run this.) For all those who don't have every *nix command + all display options in Emacs/editor-of-Another choice, embedded in jelloware: this tiny (500K d/l!) bionic crutch will either get them more interested? / or supersede the necessity (??)

What an amazing amount of machine-level Noise! on damn near every keystroke -- Every mouse-click -- beneath that serene façade which tells us that nothing-is-happening [Should! tell us] ~ STOP! Thou knowest-Not what thou Doest! What with the balloons, the instantly-spawned tables + zoom-in/out on the Whole picture of the guts-in-action ... why, it's more fun than the NY Times Saturday Crossword.

Thanks, Peter.. a simply formidable app and graphic-display: worthy of the Master (re. the intelligent display of (too-much) Information), Edward Tufte. Even the chatter to compose/send a simple email is prolix; poor little CPU: no wonder we need 1.66 GHz for all this stuff to seem instantaneous.

Gladly sent some $NZD, admiring the appropriateness of their little nag-pop-up.
(I kinda figured that, any $saved VS $new ... would be made up on various Gotta-Have stuff)
"Am I right sir, am I right?" -- thruppence for source.

(You aren't Sure if 'Quit' means that your 'trial period' (not mentioned at site) just might be Up?!)
Ordinarily I'd be incensed at such chutzpah; but I figured this time: if you don't See what this guy/gal/group have wrought: then, you deserve to let them play with your head.

I note too, that Process Guard, a bitchin ExPee s/ware firewall
(which caused me to consider, even: putting the nb on the Intarweb via dial-up == with no decent Router f/wall!) also came from Anzak country. Smart critters these down-Under types. That Beastware app had similar flavour to the NetBarrier thingie I'm auditioning -- 3 more days till pay/or uninstall.. $50/yr for updates (??) seems a bit steep.

Will check out the other items, anon.

On other information-withholding fronts:
Found that Pseudo -- the handy app which lets you install apps of the sort in which, 'you don't have Permission!' pops up == but No sudo box presents: works, but only for apps; not for Logfiles. But finally, getting the Crash log in Finder, unlocking permissions from 'Nobody can read' and demanding action: got me a sudo box!

Daunting massive but Interesting litany, leading to conclusion that -- something in Speech Recognition (!!) had flummoxed, crashed: Thread 1 crashed with X86 Thread State (32-bit): [registers shown.]
This while I (and iMac) were 'asleep' Zzzzzzzz.

Love. It.
