...and the new graphical installer is very nice - yeah, it's the same story as before, but it drives well from the keyboard. I like the default GNOME desktop theme, too.

Just a note for folks who want to install Parallels Tools (and if you're using it in a VM, you probably do): you'll need the build-essentials and an appropriate linux-headers-version-arch package. I used linux-headers-2.6.26-1-i686.

A smart "linux-headers" metapackage that automagically installed the right ones for your currently running kernel would be much appreciated; there's a bit of a forest of header packages.

I've not done much other than install it and start it, but I can't see anything that will have people screaming in agony. Having the network interface configured by default to start automatically would be handy, though.
