One bite, throw away, pick another, one bight throw away, pick another . . . What we need here is a species of carnivorous tree squirrel that feasts on squirrel. I hope the genetic engineers are working on one.

Because they're New Jersey squirrels it's legal to trap them but illegal to release them anywhere in California. As to whether these squirrels like nuts, I don't know, I've never seen one eat anything but fruit. A good Georgian walnut sauce would probably work fine, though.
