I don't know whether it was TWiki specific, or even specific to that build, but it was very frustrating to me to have to wait so long to have a page appear. A general dumping ground for HTML pages might be simpler? Hyperlinking between them would be difficult with such an arrangement, though. :-( I guess it depends on what we want it for. If it's for more than just a convenient spot for simple relatively persistent HTML, then someone would probably have to babysit it and make sure that it wasn't attacked by comment spam, etc., etc. Nothing's simple. :-( Thanks. Or anything that doesn't have a loony in charge.

And once they're configured the first time, you generally don't have to touch 'em, except via in-Wiki changes.
