New Thought experiment/Linux LVM challenge
OK, so the reason my Jabber server went crapola a few weeks ago was because of the fuckedup nature of the disk setup. (Recent outages were down to power issues)

I'd like to rectify this.

So, Linuxistas, here's the challenge: un-LVM a Debian/Ubuntu system without reinstalling it.

I don't even know whether it can be done, but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

New Not even gonna try.
RRR.

New If the disk is fully commited to one "regular" and on LVM...
Then New Disk is the only way, then transfer everything and move as new primary.

Oh and use Ext3 at this point.
