Is that a convection microwave?
You can work wonders with those things...

IAND.
But I'd suggest carryout from a restaurant or grocery store. Fewer dishes to clean up, too.
Have fun! Cheers, Scott. |

Your faith in me is flattering, but ...
Damn, why don't you tell me what you do have to work with?
Here's an idea, though. Do a turkey breast in Alton Brown's cardboard box smoker. http://flickr.com/ph...279@N00/296669357 http://flickr.com/ph...279@N00/296669367 You can see the basic construction there. Hickory chips in the pan on a hotplate. Probe from a digital thermometer stuck through the top so you can keep it at 210. Up to you whether you do it inside or out. --

Here's what I have to work with
Clear liquids.
Part of a 2 day prep prior to more surgery the day after Thanksgiving. It will be turkey broth and popsicles for me, unless you think of something better. This time they are resecting my ileum and taking out what little lady parts I have left. Good news is, this should be the last surgery AND I will be home through mid January which means I can spend the entire Christmas break with my kids. |

It doesn't seem quite right to say 'good luck!'
But I wish you all the best - and it really is excellent news about christmas.
As for thanksgiving, heck, you could even combine your options and have turkey-broth popsicles :) |

She started a relief fund in the name of sanity She collected rare humor, hugs, various pats on the back, Kind words And above all, the wisdom to know it would eventually pass. :-) |

Lucky you
You get to stay home through the holidays and a crash diet.
