Thanks - I needed this (this has been a depressing weekend for me, on a personal level; I really needed my 'crutch'... Sometimes, chatting with my friends here is all that keeps me going.). It doesn't help that Covad is screwing up my own DSL connection; projected time to fix it is 'a few days'. Even in my near-penniless state, I want to contribute a bit to this effort - is there a Paypal account I could send a bit of cash to? Post #2,984 by tonytib 7/29/01 5:40:10 PM Reply	Covad must be a Jekyll and Hyde company I know people from the East coast have been complaining about Covad, but not everyone has had bad experiences with them. In fact, when PacHell screwed up my Covad DSL line for no discernable reason, both Covad and my ISP were great. I haven't logged uptime percents, but it seems pretty good but not perfect -- much, much better than z.iwethey.org's cable modem. Tony
