It's a scary thought that in the hiring process for police officers, there isn't a better screening methodology to prevent such events as these from occurring. My son wants to go into law enforcement. Seeing videos like this turns his stomach. His reason for entering his chosen career is to serve people. Unfortunately, there are those who become cops to get off on the power trip. I am hopeful that the more we learn about reading body language and eye contact, we can keep those kind of whack-jobs off the force.

These men and women are professionals and it is a disservice when an idiot whips out his taser at the drop of the hat. He needs to have his eyelids tatooed with the words: "To serve and protect."
