I should be able to convert the most important docs in that time. How big is small? A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Anything under 1MB would be good, stuff larger fine... CPAN has some modules that can read the current format... tough luck chuck. Looks like Nuance (and Omnipage) is the only solution for you. I even had my... "find anything out there if it exists" guy look. More likely will be to use the free trial, spend as many hours as possible to convert docs.
