Do I see a possible 'partner service' with {ugh} Walmart?
or is my incredulity showing again?
Hell, facilitating just such installs - can only help sell more Stuff - their raison d'etre. No?
Which IWEer wants to propose the web-page creation, linked to {ugh} Walmart's?
{ugh} because: I continue my total boycott of anything Walmart; I'm sure that leaves Sam quaking in his $5K Alligator boots.. but at least I have some company - no way to tell if the boycott has any legs yet. But it just feels good, y'know?

Dunno about business plans
but Sam went to the Great Remainder Bin some years ago.
His widow owns a ranch to the south of where I live, and his daughter flies in from LA in her Lear 23(?) to visit from time to time. They moved all the tiedowns in front of the terminal of the little airport out of the way, so Miss Walton doesn't have to park so far away and walk. Gained a whole airplane length of space doing that. Oh, and they're paving the airport access road, too; there are some benefits.
Sidelight: Not every bidnessperson is impervious to employees' desires -- the corporate pilot who chauffers Miss Walton around doesn't want to move to Los Angeles [bright fellow] and has stayed in Arkansas, where he has a nice place with landscaping. So when Miss Walton wants to go somewhere, he goes out, fires up the Lear, flies to LA, takes MW wherever she wants to go, takes her back to LA, then flies back to Arkansas to park the bird.
I think it's charming. Mrs. Walton shows up at the local Wal-Mart once in a while to serve as a "greeter", the [usually elderly] person who tells you hello and offers a shopping cart when you enter. She isn't too interested in hobnobbing with the locals, and, as one of the locals, I have to sympathize... Miss Walton is just a nouveau riche, a Beverly Hillbilly with a little too much sense to really play it out. Think the local Mary Kay salesperson, only the rocks are real.

Imagine.. flying home "from the shift" in - virtually - your very own Lear - you could try that old chestnut:
Full glass of water on the coffee table; do a barrel roll: no spill. Or go straight up; stall.. chandelle. On Company gas.
WTF - why not.?. at that level of profligacy - all Reason vanishes.
So what happened to Sam's $5K shoes? :-\ufffd

Really not all that unusual for corporate pilots
though a bit extreme. It's fairly normal to have the airplane based where it's less expensive -- the cost to hangar and maintain a plane at most urban airports is prohibitive, and there are lots of "second line" airports that make a specialty of serving as parking places. When the corp execs want to go somewhere, the pilot goes out, fires up the bird, and flies to the urban airport that's convenient for the execs to pick them up; after the trip, drop 'em off and fly back to West Bumf*k. Except for the fuel, it makes sense, and even with fuel and operating expenses for the ferry flights, it's almost always cheaper than trying to hangar the jet at LaGuardia or SFO.
Years ago, there was a national company that did aerial photography for mapping. They made the mistake of setting up an operation in Santa Barbara, and moving their shiny new jet there for a gigantic contract in Northern California. When the contract went away, they started closing the operation down -- lots of SoCalers in my business are alumni, or were until retirement set in -- but the pilot refused point-blank to move. For a little over ten years, there was still a hangar with their logo at Santa Barbara airport, but nothing was there except the pilot and plane; even the maintenance was done by having the pilot fly the Lear to Chicago! They felt it was worth it to keep that particular guy, although he could have given you irascibility lessons.
So except for the distance involved it isn't all that remarkable, and just think of all the airplane mechanics, fuel truck drivers, and general ramp-apes it keeps employed.

As to irascibility lessons: I humbly admit that I need more training. Is he taking students?
(I feel I've gotten soft, overdoing the niceness - so it's hard to feel Good about myself. Y'know? ;-)

You know, I am having a hard time forming a mental image of you. I have an image of motorcycle riders. I have an image of people who cackle incessently.
The two images are failing to meet in the middle, even though I know they must in your case...

Speaking of (OT) motorcycle riders . .
I had a conversation with one of my clients about the pricing of the stuff he has for sale. I thought $139 each for tiny rear view mirrors was a bit high until I noticed a pair priced at $395. Helmets start at $395 and top out at about $895. Motorcycles start at $13,500 - and there is no top.
"Yup, and the funny thing is, the higher the price is the easier the stuff is to sell. Christ, we have $1,700 exhaust systems and people buy 'em! I don't know where these people come from, but God bless 'em!"

Those are not "motorcycle riders"
Those are acquisitive Yuppie-trained Hey Look How Much *I* Spent! for a Muffler kinda guys n'gals. Learning the subtleties about riding is not high on that list. (There are always exceptions, though)
Bet: on the Sunday Morning ride from Stinson Beach --> Point Reyes, these Fashionables will trickle in.. while the riders are on 2nd cup of whatever. The early-arrivals may be on everything from BSA 650s to Norton Dominator 99s - which cost in the hundreds. New. A while back. (Well a few ZX-11 thru 13s on brute HP and some other pukka racers; but these don't need any 'better' mufflers!)
Nobody ever went broke, pricing stuff for the gullible and fashion-conscious Too high.. well, almost nobody. There are no US 'motorcycle' mags I've seen in past several years; just hype like above. It sells. Maybe in UK (?) are some vestiges of The Motor Cycle from days of yore. I hope so.
Still, there will always be a few authentic riders about; it's just too exhilarating - to surrender to the tawdry masses.

Not quite . .
Many who buy here are guys who's entire lives revolve around their motocycles. The yuppies tend to buy Harleys anyway - that's the "image" bike.
This place sells Aprilia, Ducatti and Moto Guzzi. Graphite fiber composite parts are much in evidence, and just about everything looks like it was made for supersonic jet fighters (and costs likewise).

Oh.. not Hawgs. Then mea culpa.
My cohorts also "made stuff out of Mg alloys" and such, seeking performance not show (though craftsmanship counted). So maybe these are just the evolved group: with unlimited funds for the kind of materials we had to scrounge.
Kinda hard to imagine just how many parts in the marques mentioned er need replacing though? Guess it's the eternal customize gene run amok. When yer down to shaving grams off.. that's the symptom.
OT more: guy I bought my car from, had a near-new Kawa ZX-13 in garage. Now this is a blunt-force ~165 HP! instrument as compared with the above mentioned. More a Gran Turismo for roads which have long since.. been rendered unuseable, for the traffic. A stock machine capable of >180 (honest) MPH! Watched him drive away on it towards SF - back to work; (I had his car!)
Hey, I can sell your guy a Beryllium brake plate - now That's rilly Light, At. No. = 4 - for about $1K. How many he want? Never mind that namby-pamby carbon-fibre plastic stuff... Oh wait! - don't need brake-plates any more - it's all discs. Never mind :(
