Our educational system is depressingly flawed and has been for decades. How do you even begin to gauge the lost opportunities and the lost potential for America? It's mind boggling.

All anyone can do is to try and affect things locally, beginning with your own kids or neighborhood kids you happen to be in contact with. Spend time with them, love them. They're your future.
