Welcome to IWETHEY!

New It's listed as "unknown" in a post on Usenet.
[link|http://groups.google.com/group/alt.flame.jesus.christ/browse_thread/thread/227549580f1e9064?tvc=2&hl=en|alt.flame.jesus.christ].

That's the only place I've found it so far.

HTH.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Usenet?
There is still a usenet? Ahhh, the alt (German anyone?) tree. Man, good times.

Let us know if you find a reference in FIDO so we can update our browsers...
Just a few thoughts,

Danno
New :-D Never had the pleasure (?) of using FIDOnet.
Other than a teletype terminal in high school, my earliest network exposure was on a [link|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PLATO|PLATO] terminal in the very early 1980s. I never got into it, though.

Cheers,
Scott.

New Umm... getting back on topic
I think I heard that limerick "back in the day" in Morse code. Or it could have just been the crickets (or the damned aliens) messing with my head.
Just a few thoughts,
Satyrist
New I used to be on FidoNet.
Even had a Point for a while.

Wade, who remembers with some fondness offline mail readers, echos, BBSing...

Is it enough to love
Is it enough to breathe
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed

Is it enough to die
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be Anything but Ordinary
Please

New Damn we're getting old...
I never had a point, but I sure flooded the pool (modem pool for all you whippersnappers). I went for the pun on the alt tree, but I wish I had a dime for all the hours I spent in alt.* (it wasn't always alt.binaries.pictures.* either - and if you know what I mean, then I don't care what you think). Although at 1200/2400 baud, you couldn't get too crazy. Sorry I couldn't get to the bash this year as I would have really liked to have had the opportunity to meet you.

A quick Google took me to a FidoNet main site, but it had the use/rules last updated in 1989. 1989... way prior to Mosaic or Spyglass, but about the same time as CompuServe and AOL's emergence/prominence. RIP FIDO and UseNet.
