New 2-dimensional axis
Jerry Pournelle once had a 2-dimensional political axis on his roundtable on GEnie circa ten years ago; I'll have to see if I can dig it up. It's a *much* better description of various political philosophies than the kneejerk "demoncrat=liberal" "republican=conservative" (neither of which is necessarily true.)
