except in wisconsin. Interesting that having sex with a freshly killed deer is illegal, a human corpse is just fine.
thanx,

New No big thing...
Some guys dug up a girl... guys have urges, ya know? Now if they had dug up a guy, that would have been queer and gay and ickey. Enough to annoy a republican. This was just some guys who were interested in a girl just a little past her "best used by" date. Imagine you being caught up by such a thing...

New Just imagine the sickness in the room
3 guys, sitting around, drinking, doing who knows what else.

Hey, lookee here at this picture!
She sure purty!

And the other 2 guys, look, and rather than saying, eww, she's dead, instead go:
Yeah, she sure is.
New I suspect it fails the "consent" standard
Die Welt ist alles, was der Fall ist.
New Probably a Christian thing
This seems to me to be the sort of thing we probably inherited from Christianity, though I have no proof.

Because of Christians belief in physical resurrection, they have always been very concerned with what happens with the body after death. This gave Christianity very complex death rituals and various taboos and beliefs about grave sites. And naturally with such beliefs, Necrophilia would be a terrible offense.
