New How kid friendly? Or rather, how young a kid should go?

New MINOR SPOILER INCLUDED
DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW PART OF THE STORY.

If your kids can handle a child's death in the film, take them. My kids were ok with it, but they're 9 and 10. My boss's kids (we ran into him at the theater), who are a few years younger than mine, had a bit of an issue with it.

New I would say no younger than 9 or 10.
It's clearly aimed squarely at kids of 9-13. But the story works for anyone that age and older.

I should add an edit. I saw a different trailer on TV just now: it's not just somewhat misleading, it's *very* misleading.

Also regarding Yendor's warning: you do not see the event in question, but it is absolutely crucial to the story.

Wade.

Is it enough to love
Is it enough to breathe
Somebody rip my heart out
And leave me here to bleed

Is it enough to die
Somebody save my life
I'd rather be Anything but Ordinary
Please
