Any folks planning to make the annual pilgrimage...
you can let me know plans via this thread or you can hit email at "myusername" at comcast dot net.
I will provide address info for those want to map themselves. I will provide real directions for anyone who rightly doesn't trust mapquest or yahoo to be anything but near correct.
Also, flyers and trainers...need arrival times and locations for negotiating pickups.
Playlist has been pared down to 138 hours without dupes. A couple more hours and I should have it to the 4 day weekend plus some overage for songs that people skip...which usually only happens while I'm at the grill and unable to smack someone about the head and shoulders for messing with the stereo.

Though the signs that are up for traffic and Megan's law stuff are all saying that "Fireworks are illegal" ... so it seems like the NJSP might be taking a more active interest in them this year.

Me plus 5
If Rita wants us to bring anything, let me know. Will be happy to bring some store bought delicacies. Trust me. You dont want me to cook and transport.
We're planning on arriving late Friday afternoon. We'll find our way. What are the plans for Friday night?
Sunday we're going to tour Philly. Monday we're heading to the shore. Going home Tuesday or Wednesday. If anyone wants to tag along to Philly let me know.

Wade, I'd really like to meet you...
And I was definitely planning on coming this year. The problem, however, seems to lie with my gallbladder, and its apparent insistence that it no longer wishes to reside internally.
While I have made the trip with back biopsies before, I don't think traveling in a car for 12 hours after surgery is terribly advisable.
I should find out within a few days, but I'm not hopeful.

Well.. that can cover Ripley's Museum too ;^> Thanks, mutual - alas - -
twixt the Terrierists having Won.. as regards successfully rendering 'air transport' a continuous soul-deadening ordeal -- and the fact that US rail transport is quite pricier (though a vastly more serene experience) -- short of some cleverly rationalized emergency, I'm pretty well stuck near the Left coast for a while.
Still, given the Cosmic crap-shoot and current turbo-charged migration of most of the US cash --> zooming into fewer profligate pockets, there may come an offer I won't refuse, should I wish to trade 'location' for mobility.
That is: I'm waiting-out the details of post-Bush chaos - which NoOne could possibly guess (from the present ...

Y'know?
ie. Maybe next year.
Hope you get aimed towards some of the local environs worth taking in. Not far from all that commercial dross, strip-malls and cold office towers - often seen enroute to/from airports -- are some gorgeous sites/sights which have resisted the National commitment to cheap-production-efficiency.
No doubt the troops will suggest several oases within a reasonable radius. Sorry I'll miss seeing your smuggled-in baby wallaby, too! :-/

Attendance confirmed!
I'll be arriving at 30th St station at 12:55pm* on Friday the 29th. I can noodle around Philly for a bit until someone can pick me up. Or I can catch a NJT train out to Lindenwold or Atco for a closer pickup - the earliest would be 2:30pm* at Atco.
