New Where to put this?
Technology refresh is scheduled to start Jul 1, replacing outdate hardware and SOFTWARE. Current platform is obsolete, having been rolled out 3 years ago.

Guess that means Vista is on the way. :-(

Ready for another stamp price increase?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. (Herm Albright)
New Let me know how that goes.
I'm trying to fend off Vista next year. We have Heidelberg printers that I'm *sure* work wonderfully with Vista. And we have MS-DOS applications (yes, STILL) that I'm also *sure* run perfectly under Vista.

New Question
do those printers and DOS apps run in XP now?

New Some do. Some don't.
And I've had some success running them with dosemu. I've tasked one of my techs with running through they myriad of DOS applications on both dosemu and dosbox (we have one lone OSX box here, but we may be replacing our 'doze notebooks with iBooks next year - IF we can run the required DOS apps with dosbox).

I still have approximately 35 MS-DOS workstations running in production. I try not to think about that much. ;0(

Edit: As for the printers, we have one version of an OEM driver that does work with XP.
