I'm done...
Defended Thesis on Sunday. Now the proud owner of MS in IT Leadership from Duquesne University. I believe my IQ has raised between 1.37 to 2.11 total points during the past two years. Will be killing the gain soon with alcohol. I've missed you guys and gals. I'll be checking in a bit more now as I have all this new found free time on my hands.

Re: Grats!
Gregg, That's MS MFAC to you... You always knew that I was shooting for ACIC.
I'll be pursuing my next degree, PhD in AMTA methodologies, as will most of the people in front of you as you drive to Bill's house.
:-)
For those not familiar, I live close to the Michigan line (the M), and Avoidance of Michigan Tailgators (Not to be confused with Florida State's gay cheering section) and the final "A" is an expletive that describes the specific area that "poop" comes from.
If you're going to BP's this year, drive safely!

Ha.. He Lives!
Congrats on cooling the eigenfunctions, and in such a sorely-vacant field, to er 'boot' - Leadership.
Mixed feelings about your major, though - was hoping you'd be looking into -- umm, say:
"Management of War Crimes Trials in the Modern Era" A Primer for the fair n'balanced administration of justice to the failed apparatchiks of contemporary Superpowers, as prelude to the gradual reinstatement of their National Constitutions
Prereqs: English for the Thoughtful, I through V Review courses of Tyranny of Words; Innumeracy; Grooks I through XII A semester of The Nuremberg Trials - the Complete Record Completion of the John DeBono Thinking Course (Other contemporary material to be assigned by panel on aberrant psychology)
Well, something like that.
Anyway.. welcome back to the world of occasional-leisure, the Sat. NYTimes crossword and Comedy Central

Re: Ha.. He Lives!
Ashton, Perhaps my PhD will be in Management of War Crimes, with a minor in Ethical preemptive military strategery. I'll write my dissertation on "Language Murder, the Ethical Slaughter of Gerunds - for the good of humankind, Part 1" (Reck, 2009). Shite! To quote Curly Joe Howard (1936), "I'll murderlize ya".
Yep, still alive and well. Coaching little league to boot. I'm becoming so boring that I don't even argue with myself. That's what education does...
I'm glad you all are still here keeping it real.

Not this time
Unfortunately, I would love to see everyone again, though. I thought Bill was moving to North Carolina and the bash would be there... Is this the case or is everyone going to Jersey? See, I'm really out of the loop now (more than usual).

Re: Jersey. Come on over, you know where I live!
Bill, Is this good news? I know that the last time we conversed you were looking at an opportunity in NC. I really would like to make it over but am afraid I can't this time. Your family is wonderful, you guys are great hosts, etc. etc. etc. I would love to play guitar with you again - for those who aren't aware, Bill is extremely good - he rocks. Just too far, and too many local responsibilities for me to get there this year (long story, but I'm now not just a father of two young 'uns, I picked up my Mom the last year - she lives close now - sold her house, etc.) I'll be there in spirit.

Don't worry. I know its a trek
and no its not really a good thing..as the opportunity in NC is at least temporarily gone...gave it my shot.
