Considering the AGGRESSIVE recruiting going on for the Army and the Marines. The Navy and Air Force are being pushed, just not nearly as hard.

So calling up reserves to count and verify them seems in order. These are the ones they consider important to keep in key logistics and support operations. In case some of the active duty folks get off'd and they don't have immediate active duty replacements.
