Imric's Tips for Living
  • Paranoia Is a Survival Trait
  • Pessimists are never disappointed - but sometimes, if they are very lucky, they can be pleasantly surprised...
  • Even though everyone is out to get you, it doesn't matter unless you let them win.

Nothing is as simple as it seems in the beginning,
As hopeless as it seems in the middle,
Or as finished as it seems in the end.

New Condolences.
Like 666 says, though, seems she had a good run.

New Awful way to find out.
I'm sure she knew you loved and respected her. You probably showed her that every time you saw her.

Take care.
New Let me add my condolences also.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. (Herm Albright)

New Seems a great way to go
(from her POV, not from those who will miss her, natch - as always)

To be 93, conscious and even 'setting the date' ... seems to place her in company with many gurus, with whom she appears to have shared a similar fearlessness of the process.

I salute her cosmic Sense of Humor.
