New DVI KVM switch?
I bought a [link|http://www.viewsonic.com/products/desktopdisplays/lcddisplays/xseries/vx2235wm/|ViewSonic VX2235] for a big discount when the local Comp USA was going out of business. The 1680x1050 display is sweet, but it is rather more sensitive when pushed through my old KVM switch.

I am considering getting a new KVM switch, possibly one with USB and DVI rather then PS/2 and VGA connectors. Has anybody had any experience with them?

Jay
New USB yes, dvi no.
I would imagine, though, that they would be designed to handle higher resolution. I've had hard times driving high resolutions through several KVMs.

First I found that cables make a really big difference. But beyond 1280 you really need to make sure you have a good KVM switch that can handle it. Sounds like upgrading your KVM may be in order.
