Wellllll for one thing...
I don't drink. :)
My husband drinks now and then, but he's not a member here, and we also are trying to save enough money to just be able to make our usual family trip later this year.
I also don't swim,(and no, I'm NOT kidding), and I'm sure there's plenty of Iwetheyers on here who would love to throw the Owl in the pool and get her feathers wet!
I always enjoy the Beep Bash on here, especially when the attendees get ahold of a computer and post in varying states of drunken mentality. ;)
You all have a wonderful Beep Bash!

Might just be the $200 for round trip gasoline.
Even at 30 MPG.
There are signs that the price of gas might just goto $4.00 per gallon by the first of July.

Well, I could make quite a long list . . .
. . but a call early this Sunday morning demonstrates the most compelling of them.

Would you want your father to attend?
Not that I claim to be, of course, but I'm old enough. Heck, I'm old enough to be Box's father. But, that would have been before I was "active".
Anyway, my thought is that it would be a little bit awkward. Besides, if you tossed me in the pool, I would have to kill you. :)

The trick to not getting tossed in the pool
Is to wear a skirt. You might want to tuck that away for future reference.
Please come!

Static should be Ok, then?
Seeing as he keeps talking about kilts.
Cheers, Scott. (Who somehow doubts that a kilt will be much protection.)

I'm not sure whether I should lambast you for inferring a kilt is a skirt, or for inferring you're expecting to see my kilted...

Don't worry.
I was just figuring that if skirts were protective, then kilts might be as well (since their topology is similar). That is all.
:-)
