New Well, considering...
... that you can get a 17" iMac with a faster CPU and a faster harddrive for essentially the same cost as the high-end Mini...

New Re: Well, considering...
Plus better graphics, built-in iSight, more USB ports, and a spiffy remote.

And built-in speakers which aren't actually total crap.

The high-end Mini/low-end iMac decision is easy.

New Nope...
I just received an email from Apple:

Now featuring the Intel Core 2 Duo for blazing speed, Mac mini comes loaded with the new iLife '08 suite of software so you can get the most from your movies, photos, and music. Mac mini works perfectly with nearly any USB keyboard and mouse, and any DVI or VGA display. Mac mini\ufffdanother example of why bigger isn't always better.

New They look interesting.
But that's a bunch of money it seems to me. Apple should be making a huge profit on them.

Yeah, it's cheap for a Mac, but still...

Cheers,
Scott.
(Who would probably just hide the box away rather than buy something that small.)
