I'm not so sure that Gore's group would have pissed away all that international goodwill with the same fervor as the current crop. Hell, it may well be that Osama would be in prison now if Gore had been at the helm. (Of course, there is always the seldom spoken argument that 9112001 occured precisely because of the epic incompetence of the current crop).
