I heard that Sherron Watkins, the alleged "whistle blower", was selling her Enron stock around the time of the problems. It is speculated that she may be charged with "insider trading" for doing such. But, she was complaining about it all being "inside info" to begin with.
Between a rock and a hard-place. Whattya gonna do? Keep your bad stock?
I have been in the middle of shady situations at smaller companies (plural). I can relate to the pressure decisions she must have been mulling around in her head.
