New /me suspicious, school scam or cool new thing
get a pamphlet from the school, my 9yu has an artwork framed on display and can be owned for 27.xx + tax framed

now from earlier work this seems a LOT better so asked her. Paper, paint stencils, shrug

It was nice. If she likes it, and if you can swing it, then you should strongly consider getting it.

Yeah, it sounds like a scam, but I guess it's better than selling candybars, magazine subscriptions, or bags of mulch. :-/

Especially if she's shown any interest in art. It's likely a good idea to get it and hang it up somewhere...Show her that you support her, etc. And 20% of $27 is just north of $5. That's not all that bad.

Where I work, one of the pieces of stuff that people can buy is framed art pieces. Different artwork, different frame choices, etc. None less than about $125.

New Not a bad idea.
That's not a bad price for just framing it. I'd be checking to see what the school gets out of each deal, though. Sounds like it could be a nice little money-spinner and what school doesn't need more money?
