New Is Rudy Nuts?
Maybe we should have a pool for when we get the "Full Rudy" - the moment Rudy shows his true self and his campaign implodes:

The explanation for what makes Rudy so compelling among people who know him bestincluding New York reporters who've covered him for a generation, and political pros who've worked for himis simpler: he is nuts, actually mad.

Now, this line should be delivered with the proper timing (smack your head in astonishment when you deliver it). And it implies some admiration and affection: he's an original. But it is, too, a considered political diagnosis: every student of Rudy Giulianiindeed, every New Yorkerhas witnessed, and in many cases suffered, his periods of mania, political behavior that, in the end, can't have much of a rational explanation.

New No sane person would want to be mayor of NYC! :)
The "Mayor for Life" political maneuvers after the 2001 mayoral elections were incredible for a democracy. The man *is* nuts!

Every 3-4 episodes they would finally attack each other and some stupid aerial melee would begin with missed attacks inevitably shattering backdrops while direct hits only propelled the enemy into backdrops for shattering.
