Greg Palast on the death of investigative "muckracking" reporting in the US;

I've long argued that Britain needs a 1st Amendment right to press freedom. It could, of course, borrow ours. We don't use it.

Theme of Moyers' first program too, on his return

to regular PBS scheduling.. (Tonight it's about relating the investigation of Foggo to the attorney firings; specifically that of Carol Lam. ETC. ad nauseum.) Every rock you turn over - - like, say

Monica M. Goodling (AG-aide, retired, took fifth - coming back to Congress: that one)
A graduate of Regent University (law school - with 150 more of its grads working in This Admin.) No ordinary university, that - why.. it's founded by [1]

Hard to compare decibel levels of the ugly synergy between the press performance and the Bushwacking - and assign causality. And then.. all the other mindless me-too / let's just Kill Something - to complete the noise level.

Massive corruption is just so jejune.
This culture is beneath pathetic - pathos is reserved for the genuinely undeserving.. of some {massive awfulness?} descending.
