New The Postmodernism Generator.
An interesting toy is the [link|http://www.elsewhere.org/pomo|Postmodernism Generator]. Refresh it if you don't like the essay you see.

1. Rushdie and postcapitalist feminism

In the works of Rushdie, a predominant concept is the distinction between closing and opening. Thus, Foucault uses the term Sontagist camp to denote the fatal flaw, and subsequent stasis, of dialectic sexuality. If postcapitalist feminism holds, we have to choose between Sontagist camp and precapitalist socialism.

The characteristic theme of von Junzs[1] essay on postcapitalist feminism is not desublimation per se, but subdesublimation. It could be said that the main theme of the works of Rushdie is the role of the participant as writer. The defining characteristic, and thus the economy, of neotextual rationalism which is a central theme of Rushdies The Ground Beneath Her Feet emerges again in Midnights Children, although in a more self-falsifying sense.

Imagine the frivolity if in addition to Nadsat, z had [link|http://www.elsewhere.org/hbzpoetry/|Adolescent Poetry]. It already matches crazy's formatting.

[edit:] The topic is from a review at [link|http://richarddawkins.net/article,824,Postmodernism-Disrobed,Richard-Dawkins-Nature|Richard Dawkins site], but I had to find a working link.

Cheers,

New Destroy it as a service to humanity!
I'm convinced that postmodernists don't have the brains to construct a chain of reasoning nor see anything original or insightful. It's all incoherent crap based on observations pulled out of someone's ass.

I know the site is a joke but I fear someone might read it and adopt postmodernism, extinguishing any chance that they'll exercise a brain cell.

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?
