when you get everything else working.

Is it possible to show on the front page how many unread articles are in each area on a by user basis?

New Everything is a SMOP.
Simple matter of programming, that is.

The question will come down to how efficient that would be, since right now I just have to compare a lastupdated time on the forum itself to the user's markedread time for that forum.
