We have a Wii
It is more fun than I thought it would be.
We have lots of laughs making Mii's.
Great family fun. Try it and you'll see.

I just got one. Haven't turned it on yet.
It's for my wife's birthday. I found one for $340 with shipping from a seller on [link|http://www.express.ebay.com|eBay Express] (substantially less than in most of the eBay auctions I saw). I hated paying such a big premium, but unfortunately I wasn't able to find one any other way (and I don't have time to camp out). I got some games bundled with another controller, and another nunchuk, from newegg. I think she will like the tennis.
I figure it's such a big hit now that the games will do nothing but get better.
Thanks admin, and everyone else who recommended it.
Cheers, Scott.

What a neat box!
Caveat: My last serious console game playing was on an Atari 64.
This is a really neat box. The controller is intuitive and the feedback is neat. The GUI is clean, clear, and intuitive. The wireless internet was easy to set up, even with an encrypted WEP key. The system update worked flawlessly. Wii Sports Tennis is fun and easy to play. I was grinning the whole time I was playing it. The Weather and News is useful and easy to read and explore. The Mii customization is neat, too.
It's all very well done. I'm very impressed.
Cheers, Scott. (Who thinks his wife is going to like it, too.)

Yep, my whole family loves it
Even my wife, who hates video games. My parents play it as well when they come to visit. We finally bought enough controllers so we could play doubles tennis. :-)

Bill.... is there *ANY* way you could
not use that sight. If I stop moving my cursor or don;t press the shift key repeatedly, the dam back ground "fades" and drops about 10 seconds of video... then if I accidentally move it again... another 10 seconds GONE.
Any way to change the default feature?
Since most of the videos shown are actually google or youtube video... GRRR.
