There is a solution, provide prostitutes for the soldiers.

Hideously socially unacceptable in the US today, but really the only way to integrate the military. Even without the hormonal and emotional surges of combat, you are asking soldiers to spend months, if not years, away from sex. Doesn't happen. One way or another there will be sex.

New The idea has been explored before.
C. S. Lewis, of all people, wrote a short-story about that very idea, although it was set in a space-station and the station was sent to female astronauts purely for 'female companionship'. It's been years since I read it, though, and I would have trouble finding it in my library.
