New House approves subpoenas in attorneygate

Now it's time for that constitutional crises. I predict Bush will claim executive privilege and fight this and all future subpoenas as far and as hard as possible. Not really for any principle or even to protect Rove. To establish precedent for the far more serious crimes (NSA spying on citizens, FBI abusing power, torture as policy, removal of habeas corpus and on and on) that have been so far unaddressed by this congress.

New Dangerous game, if you're right
National security is a far better argument than executive privilege. If he fights this round on the privilege argument, and loses, he'll set a precedent that can be used when the Gitmo stuff starts coming up.
