A couple years ago we had a passenger suicide in the bathroom on a flight to JFK. The flight crew took the body and strapped him in a seat in first class. What else were they supposed to do with him?

The first class passengers got coupons or some such for their trouble. We activated a team of responders at JFK to debrief the flight crew, passengers and the victim's family. No family showed up at the airport and everyone else declined our services. Nobody thought it was a big deal.
